I have been saving these images for quite some time, because I wanted to give these two, time to decide which ones, if any that they might want to use for advertising their new CD, “Loved and Lost”. ( If you have not heard of Porter Union, you should definitely check them out, they are on virtually every music streaming site you can think of, I will post a few at the end of this post for your convenience :) you can thank me later)
So, I was in Missouri last Dec. for their 9th Annual “Scheddy Ball Concert” (which is a Blast by the way you should also check that out this December if you get a chance). It was a very cold, Icy, night, (as are most winter nights in Missouri) and we had just wrapped up shooting for the album cover, and decided to head out and find the perfect place to shoot some promotional images. There were not a lot of places open (due to the aforementioned ice), but we did find this great little pool hall, tucked in the middle of downtown Springfield, that was the perfect atmosphere we were looking for, These are just a few of my favorite Shots…
Thanks for visiting my website, feel free to look around, and leave a comment :)
P.S. Here are some of the links I mentioned…
Have you noticed?
Everywhere you look, women, in particular older women, are starting to assert themselves, achieve power, apply their well earned wisdom and take on positions in leadership.
It's Happening in Politics, Business, on Social Media, and in our very own community.
Is it you? Do you have a powerful woman inside you? or Do you know of one that might be interested in this project?
Each year I like to set a Goal for myself and my business in the form of a Personal Photography Project. This year is starting off somewhat behind, due to a major move to a new City and State, which will make this project a little harder, but not impossible :).

Looking forward to working with you,
Greetings from the Beautiful State of Tennessee! or should I say ” Hey Y’all” :) Yeah! That sounds better. Well, I have moved my home and my Studio and I can’t find a thing! UGH! This living out of boxes is not my cup of tea, Today’s “To Do” list consists of… #1 writing this Blog Post, #2 finding my Lap top which contains all my Business Templates, Contracts, Portfolio, and other needful paraphernalia. #3 Try and clear out some space to set up a backdrop stand, this should be interesting. I seem to be in a never ending circle of… “Empty a box, find a place to put box contents, which is in the way, of finding my shelves to assemble, in order to get things out of the way in order to find the shelves” Did you get all that? Yeah, Me neither. Lets just say Im a bit of a mess right now, and leave it at that.
Any way, about a week or two after I moved to the area, I was contacted by a Sweet Lady who was in desperate need of a Photographer, her son who is in the Military, was in Country for just a couple of days and she wanted family Photo’s taken, Naturally I said YES! after all I LOVE and respect any Military family, and I had no clients yet, so I was available.
I arrived at her house (with the help of my trusty GPS, I have no idea how I ever got any where before GPS) not knowing the lay of the land, ie: lighting, location, subjects, but the whole shoot went off without a hitch, and what a great family! I am so excited about the possibilities of a new friendship and clientel to come from this one session.
So without further ado, here are some of the images from the Bales family session…
